Lingosphere Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Driftline Labs LLC ("we", "us") collects and uses information through the Lingosphere mobile application ("Lingosphere"). It applies only to Lingosphere — see our separate WalkProof Privacy Policy for that app.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, a securely hashed password (for direct sign-up), and a username. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from that provider instead of a password.
• Profile details: optional profile picture URL, timezone, and country, plus your selected languages and proficiency levels.
• Gameplay data: quiz sessions, individual answers, scores, time spent, performance trends, leaderboard standing, streaks, and earned badges.
• Diagnostic data: if the app crashes or errors, we use Sentry to collect crash reports, which may include device type, OS version, and stack traces.
• Advertising data: Lingosphere displays ads via Google AdMob, mediated in part through Meta Audience Network. These providers may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, governed by their own privacy policies.

How We Use This Information

We use this information to operate core app features (quizzes, streaks, leaderboards, badges), authenticate your account, diagnose and fix crashes, and support ad-based monetization of the free app.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with the following providers strictly to operate the app: Google (Sign-In, AdMob), Apple (Sign in with Apple), Meta Audience Network (ad mediation), and Sentry (crash diagnostics). We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (language preferences, quiz history, leaderboard entries, and badges) at any time from within the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Children's Privacy

Lingosphere is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
